bad blogger......

Life has been a bit busy. Taking care of two almost six month old babies keeps mommy on her toes. But...the biggest reason I've not been keeping up with my blog posts is because my laptop is sick and I've not had time to fully figure out what the issue is. I'm hoping the operating system is not failing. I may have to try running the recovery disks and start fresh, but I'd hate to lose everything on the hard drive...luckily I've backed up most of my pictures and what I haven't backed up should still be on my camera memory cards. I'll try to download pictures to our desktop computer this weekend and share pictures. I've been informed by a family member that the babies may not be recognizable. I can guarantee the C&C still resemble their smaller selves!

Five months old!

C, C and I went out today to get my haircut. It was COLD out, so we were all bundled up. Chloe, the little stinker that she is, fussed, so I ended up holding her for most of the time we were there. She loved watching herself and me in the mirror, so she was easily entertained once I held her. It was worth the bit of hair she got on herself!

C&C wore CUTE outfits from Dennis, Jan, Justin and Kristen (Chad's brother and his family).

Fortunately the little cuties even posed for me for the pictures! Here are a couple pictures I took of them today. I love noticing little details of pictures after taking them. In the close up picture, notice how Connor is holding onto the sleeve of Chloe's outfit! It's so fun to see them noticing each other and wanting to interact. Can't wait until they play together!

Happy New Year!

A new year, a new list of goals! I'm not even sure what plans C&C have in mind for this year....so we will just take it day by day. I hope you have been enjoying the video uploads. I posted one of Connor below. He's such a mellow guy, unless his teeth are bothering him. Though we did have a very good talk today! Before he would just move his mouth and tongue and you could tell he'd want to talk! Today we had one heck of a conversation! Chad and I love his muppet smile. The open mouth, gummy grin! He discovered his feet a few days ago. Started to look at them with his socks on....he'd wiggle his foot and watch it move. He was truly fascinated with them! He has a real laugh now, too. I was zerberting his belly (you know, when you make fart sounds on the skin) and he LOVED it. I knew as he responded with a real belly laugh! Chloe is still making her motorboat sounds and is quite proud of herself! She also decided that screaming is a good thing to do. You know, the kind that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.....can't wait for her to do that out in public. It's once thing to do it at home, but another one to do it in public! Both C&C are getting more involved with play. It's so fun to watch them explore and discover new things. I'll catch things on video as I'm able to!
