C&C at eight months.

Such a hoot, trying to get both C&C to look at the camera at the same time. Why, when I'm taking random shots, do they love the camera but when I am taking these today they give me poker faces??? Oh well!

Love this photo of the two of them looking at each other. They LOVE each other!

Thanks for looking!

Mr C.

He's fast moving and hard to capture! And, he was busy looking at his cute sister during a portion of the photo shoot. Fortunately I can probably find a couple decent shots to print out and add to their scrapbooks!

Little stinker moved around and I have some of the toys in the background. Somehow I think I could crop this photo and it would look great. And, I learned how to remove the date stamp from the picture.

On the move, again!

He's not listening to me......I thought that started later!

Such a long and lean machine!

I think we have it. Not the best, but what can you expect?

Miss C at eight months.

I haven't taken pictures with the bears lately as our monthly photos have either been on a holiday or taken professionally. The bears are definitely shrinking! Chloe definitely has her daddy's smile, that's for sure!

8 month photo shoot.

The outtakes and mishaps. It's much more difficult photographing wiggles and giggles now that they are more mobile!

Attempting to go without the flash.....Chloe is too quick to do that....

Yes, I do feed him......

both babies on the go.....Connor left, Chloe right.

Chloe rolling off the cloth backdrop.....I went to get a large sheet after this.

Poor bear probably has a dislocated shoulder after Connor whipped him around.....

I'll post the good shots soon.

cranky X 2

I think it's teeth.....but both C&C have been CRANKY today. I even put Miss C down for a nap less than an hour after she woke from her morning nap as she was CRANKY yet. After some Tylenol and a cold teething ring to her gums, she settled down and slept for about another hour. Seems holding C&C helps, which makes for an interesting day!

It's hard to believe C&C are EIGHT MONTHS OLD. Seriously....I've said it before and I'll say it again, my how time flies.

No teeth, no crawling or multi syllable babbles yet, but I have a feeling they will all be making an appearance soon.

I'll share pictures in a picture post soon.

Long time no blog.....

I'm really surprised I've not gotten subtle hints to update!

C&C are at such a fun age and delight (usually) to be with. It's so hard to believe they will be 8 months old in a few days. Surprisingly, neither baby has gotten up on all fours to attempt crawling. They do attempt to bring their knees up, but usually just flip over onto their sides.

Chloe is fascinated with babies, regardless if it's a picture in a book, on a video or her own image. She laughs when she sees a baby. lately, when she's looking at her reflection, she will move her tongue in and out of her mouth. It's quite a site. She enjoyed getting close to a mirror, fogging up the image while she admires the baby she's looking at. We thought Chloe was cutting her first tooth....in the upper right molar area. While it is still a white bump, it's not at large as it was yesterday. It will be interesting to see if she cuts her first tooth there.

Connor is such a busy body. It seems the only time he is still is when he's sleeping. The little stinker could sit up on his own if he wanted to, but he's too busy looking around and moving to stay up long enough. We can trick him by sitting him up in front of us, though. I think he would walk if his legs would allow him. Connor's new name is scratch. He tends to scratch his face. Not sure why, but I note more scratches after I clip his nails. Both C&C were patient when I clipped their nails earlier this week, so maybe I'll attempt to file them a bit to get the sharp edge off.

It's so fun to see C&C improve on their hand/eye coordination. I've been giving them cheerios and gerber puff crackers. Connor usually dumps more on the floor than in his mouth. Chloe is usually pretty good at getting things to her mouth.

We were able to see the final photos from the photo shoot over the weekend. Let me tell you, Elaine does a fabulous job. I could definitely go broke, but had to restrain myself and not go overboard. Can't wait to add more art when the order arrives!

Ok...I need to upload more videos, but this post will have to do for now.

Enjoy!
